Regardless of whether you like football or not, they'll be no escaping the World Cup when it starts in Russia shortly. I can't remember how many 'years of hurt' it is now, but, expectations aren't particularly high with regards to the England team. That doesn't mean that I don't care.
Settle down in front of the TV and start shouting, "Come on, England!"

TheChicGeek took a trip to sunny Marrakech to see the new YSL Museum - read more here - while there, he thought it rude not to show you one of the big trends of the 2018 season - Vertical Stripes.
Think 'stylish deckchair', designers such as Marni, Balmain, Etudes, Haider Ackermann, Paul Smith, Cerruti 1881 and Ami all did their vertical variations on the trend.
With the Jardin Marjorelle as the backdrop, bold vertical stripes are not only a statement, but they elongate the wearer. Don't be scared, you can clash them, as seen here, just make sure they're wide and colourful.
This is perfect for holiday wardrobes in both shorts and T-shirts, as well as shirts and trousers, as seen here on TheChicGeek.

It's the time of year to be comfortable, warm and, ultimately, cute. Nothing says 'narcissistic' like decorating a Christmas tree with your own image! Even the fairy on the top has a remarkable likeness!
As for dressing, double corduroy is the way to go - see more here. Team with a seasonal Fair Isle and a glass of Baileys. Cheers and Merry Christmas ChicGeeks!

The Drop, a new digital made-to-measure suit, service - see the full review here - kindly made TheChicGeek a suit of his request. Opting for chocolate brown with a millennial pink lining, the suit has a longer jacket and larger lapels to reflect the new mood away from skinny to something longer and wider.

The final part of his lumberjack series, TheChicGeek goes rogue and starts to resemble an axe wielding killer, albeit a stylish one.
Still scouting for the perfect Christmas tree, his masculine uniform of khaki parka, check shirt and waterproof Wellingtons makes him the best dressed in the forest.
Copy his look, but keep it simple, remember, you want to be able to see the wood for the trees!

Never one to be shy about getting his chopper out, TheChicGeek is armed and dangerous in this lumberjack inspired OOTD.
Those towering pines don’t stand a chance with TheChicGeek in his classic black and red buffalo check. Legend has it this distinctive Scottish pattern, known for centuries as Rob Roy, was dubbed ‘Buffalo Check Plaid’ by American outdoor specialist Woolrich (circa 1850) in honour of the small herd of buffalo the designer owned in central Pennsylvania.
