Sometimes it's good to go for a run in the woods. Clear the mind, wind in your hair and the latest sneakers on your feet, life is good. and breathe. Nothing feels as good as a fresh tracksuit to put that spring in your step. Sorry, gotta run!

When I received an e-mail from the 'Jacket Maker', at the beginning of the year, offering me the opportunity of designing my own leather jacket, I jumped at the chance. I wanted something with lots of fringing. I was thinking Harry Styles meets Stevie Nicks (look just what happened at the recent Gucci Cruise show!) to wear to a festival. A few e-mails back and forth and a few months later, voila, here's my western style leather jacket in oxblood red with maximum fringing. Rock on!
I've teamed it with a vintage, dead-stock 1970s yellow blouse with beagle collars I found on eBay, my current favourite jeans from Raey at Matchesfashion.com and some practical hiking boots for all those hours flitting between the bar and the main stage. Bring on the music...

Without the rain, there wouldn't be any rainbows, or so the optimists like to tell us. TheChicGeek ventured into the woods, this week, prepared for all weathers in his new, minimal raincoat. The concealed hood, taped seams and internal pockets makes it perfect for a country ramble. There's nothing as timeless as a grey sweatshirt, but add a gold necklace, baseball cap and sporty looking hiking boots and the look becomes just at home in an urban setting as amongst the bluebells.

Every year, the bluebells arrive to herald the end of spring, and TheChicGeek takes to the woods. The blur of blue and intoxicating smell are one of the miracles of the season and you should dress to match.

They say the suit is on its way back, but the most important thing for tailoring brands to do is simply is give us suits that we want to wear. It sounds simple, but, if it's good, we'll wear it. I designed this suit with The Drop see more here
Based on something I already had in my wardrobe by Tom Ford, I had it remade in brown with a pink lining. The new trends coming out of the recent shows were for longer jackets in a double-breasted shape, see more here Whatever you do, just make sure the jacket covers your arse!
Lucky, it coordinates with the coloured elastic on my new Chelsea boots. Now, where's that party?

Summer isn't all shorts and sandals, it can also be a time for formal occasions and those days when you just feel like making an effort. Putting on a suit, after a break, can be, almost, liberating. It's that old feeling of a uniform that runs throughout British menswear and that comfort in feeling 'dressed'.
A checked suit adds more interest, a waistcoat adds more formality and a black vinyl raincoat adds, well, it just ADDS! See more of the vinyl trend - here

Regardless of whether you like football or not, they'll be no escaping the World Cup when it starts in Russia shortly. I can't remember how many 'years of hurt' it is now, but, expectations aren't particularly high with regards to the England team. That doesn't mean that I don't care.
Settle down in front of the TV and start shouting, "Come on, England!"

We all love a good festival, it's as British as bunting and warm cider. So, when it's time to get those chicken legs out, go bold and put bright colour with bright colour. (Oh, and something waterproof, we all know how the weather works!).
It's also practical, because it's good to stand out from the crowd, just for your friends' benefit. Just add some Gallagher swagger!

When you're a ginger, you can match your Millenial Pink to your nipples! Bring out the baby pink pastels in various shades this spring. Add touches of coral to highlight and contrast and look for classic, collegiate shapes in jackets and sweatshirts.
Accessorise with a handful of balloons!
