Gucci this month rolls out the second image of its “Forever Now” worldwide advertising campaign. As its 90th anniversary year approaches in 2011, Gucci continues to celebrate the traditions and values which makes Gucci what it is.

The image features an original black and white photograph of Gucci artisans in its historic Via delle Caldaie building in Florence taken by Foto Locchi in 1953.

4th Giles For New Look

This season Giles Deacon casts off the anchor and sets sail. The nautical inspired men's collection, Deacon’s 4th, contains a mix of Yarn dyed crew necks and tough wearing Breton polos.

The palette is classic navy colours of navy, red and ecru with Chambray fabrication decorated with Mediterranean acid washed checks and Hawaiian inspired printed shirts. For the colder evenings there is a sophisticated naval styled chambray Parka that complements the lightweight Denim jeans with sailor styled turn ups. T-shirts are still ‘Deacon’ humoured with collaged tourist prints such as surfing renaissance sculptures and a Greek bust taking revenge on tourists with cameras in hand.

Loewe Leather Icons

Luxury Spanish label Loewe has launched a special collection of essential leather wardrobe items all in its finest black nappa. To go with the new range, Loewe shot a campaign to demonstrate that leather can be worn by anyone and any age - the photographer was Daniel Jackson and the stylist was Katie Grand. To illustrate the men's collection, Loewe chose musician George Barnett, the model Louis Simonon, and the journalist Ben Cobb.

This first Leather Icons collection is made entirely in black – the iconic colour of leatherwear. Most of the collection is made in Loewe’s famous, softest 'nappa' leather which is so light that it moves with all the suppleness of a textile. There are also pieces in fine suede and warm, furry shearling. Leather Icons is not a seasonal collection; these pieces are designed to remain vital and timeless for years to come. The collection is tightly edited to cover every situation, from the formal to the casual. The collection aims to make Loewe the go to house for contemporary and expertly crafted leather clothing. This really is the Rolls-Royce of leathers.

There are nine pieces in the men’s Leather Icons collection; a definitive Loewe Blazer - pictured - and coat, a four-pocket jacket and three types of sports jacket that follow either a Harrington-style or a baseball-jacket silhouette. And also a classic Perfecto-style biker jacket, a quilted bodywarmer and Duffel Coat.

Tiffany says i-Do with its first iPhone app that features new ways to explore the world’s most exquisite diamond engagement rings.

As the premier jeweller for engagement, Tiffany takes its celebrated diamonds directly to the customer with the Tiffany & Co. Engagement Ring Finder. In response to a growing customer desire for mobile and interactive shopping, the app offers users the tools for selecting the perfect Tiffany diamond engagement ring, from viewing the range of styles to learning about the superior qualities of Tiffany diamonds.

The app includes an accurate Ring Sizer, the first tool of its kind from a jeweller, that lets users determine their size by placing an actual ring directly on the screen and aligning it with the correct circle in the guide. Browsing the collection according to shape, setting, metal or design is equally simple. The rings are shown true-to-size and each style may be viewed with diamonds of six different carat sizes. Users may zoom in on a ring’s details, pair the rings with wedding bands, and save or share their favorites via e-mail, Facebook and Twitter.

In addition, users can make an appointment for a diamond consultation via phone or e-mail. The app appears in English with prices in pounds.
