Who would have thought that Liam Gallagher would produce such a tasteful and sophisticated men's label? Pretty Green is Liam's new venture into men's fashion which he says was brought about because "there's a lack of stuff out there of the things I would wear".
The label draws its inspiration from 1960's mod culture and Liam's favourite wardrobe staples. Black and ivory are the key colours, keeping with the clean monochrome look which mod style is known for. Vintage Paisley highlights the collection and is featured throughout in scarves, shirting and a multi-coloured psychedelic Kaftan. Luxurious separates include the softest pure Cashmere polo and round neck sweaters, Egyptian Cotton grandad shirts, Japanese selvedge rinse wash jeans and tone on tone logo print tees.
Pretty Green lands in Selfridges tomorrow - 20th November - and the first 200 customers who purchase an item from the range will be invited to return to
store for a one-to-one audience with the musician-turned-designer. Selfridges shoppers in London and Manchester will have the exclusive opportunity to meet Liam Gallagher at 1pm on November 30th and December 2 and respectively. Liam will be in the stores to launch Pretty Green's much anticipated premium Black collection.
