British brand Baracuta opens a pop-up shop in the Seven Dials area of Covent Garden today. The shop will be open for 3 months, showcasing the famous G9 jacket in all its colourways alongside the complete lifestyle collection.

Baracuta is one of Britain’s best heritage brands. This iconic label was founded in 1937 by 2 Brothers- John & Isaac Miller. The Manchester based factory started out as a raincoat factory making outerwear and established its name through a golf jacket known as the G9.

In the 50’s the jacket started to become popular thanks to the American stars, such as Frank Sinatra and Steve McQueen. The name “Harrington” became associated after Ryan O’Neill's character, “Rodney Harrington” wore it in Payton Place.

Baracuta has also collaborated with brands such as Stussy, J Crew, Comme des Garcons, Griffin and Margaret Howell.
