I am rapidly approaching 30 and I find myself too old to head to indie shops for jeans and t-shirts, but I am too young to go for the man at Next look. I loathe high-street fashion and prefer something more unique. There isn't huge amount of choice for a chap in the East Midlands. What would you recommend?
I'm not an expert in the field of East Midlands men's wear so I think we should turn to online. For a man of your age you want to be trendy but not male mutton. One brand I like is Albam, it's trendy but so easy to wear. They have a really good brand philosophy, are sticklers for quality and prices are really good value. Another brand is YMC, they do a trendy twist on the basics.
It's hard buying online because you can't try it on but most online retailers offer an easy returns policy.
As you reach 30 you should be buying less but better quality. Spend money where it matters - jeans, shoes and jackets.
