Must-Have - The Male Car Coat

The 60s have appeared in the coat shape of the season - the male car coat. What makes this shape is the slightly over-large sizing and the raglan sleeve. This sleeve gives the shoulder a more rounded shape as there isn't as much definition in that area.

The pioneer of this shape has been Christopher Bailey at Burberry Prorsum where he used thick wools and strong Buffalo checks to accentuate this shape. It's 60s but modern and makes the wearer look vulnerable in a Lowry stick figure kind of way. These are pricey but I haven't seen any cheaper copies as of yet, watch this space.
