What is a BB cream?
You may have heard the term before, with it being the beauty/grooming flavour of the month. The BB stands for Blemish Balm. It was initially used by dermatologists to help laser surgery patients protect, soothe and refine highly sensitive skin. It became hugely popular in Asia and as western beauty companies continue to focus on that market for growth, it has had the knock on effect of now entering the western mainstream.
TheChicGeek's Verdict - This is a really, really great product, one of the best so far this year. It has everything in one; moisturiser, high SPF, light-tint and Blemish Balm. The texture is really light for such a high SPF, the tint is really light, perfect for paler skin, and blends well, leaving you with a warming glow rather than a complete colour change. This product could easily become a cult male grooming classic and has set the bar with the new male BB creams.
The only negative is the size of the tube. For something to be used as a daily moisturiser, ideally it would be bigger than 50ml. We want more!
