This may take a bit of convincing, but the Male Clutch is something new to try. This isn't a fashion conspiracy to make men look stupid but a new option. Basically, it's a small bag without a handle or one where you hold the body of the bag in the hand - see the look from Gucci left to see how it should be worn.
This isn't the washbag shape, it's more elegant than that. It's a slim portfolio option. Gucci has a great compromise, it's a standard soft briefcase which rolls into a clutch - see below. Hold it the same way you would hold a rolled newspaper. Never wear it under the arm or camping it up. This isn't an everyday bag, just when you're travelling light.
And, it's going to carry over to the Spring 2012 season, being seen on the Louis Vuitton and Topman Design catwalks.
