Both these looks are by designer Tim Soar. The look on the right was shown last week as part of his S/S 10 collection and it caught my eye as the perfect summer sweater for next year. A white textured jumper is always perfect for the summer, it's a reminder of the classic tennis or cricket Arun patterned sweaters, but this waffly, round necked sweater just looks so clean and fresh.

Going into our archives, the image on the left is from Tim Soar's A/W 09 show, it's the same jumper but in a primary red. Available now, it shows how colour can alter an item completely, while one looks bold and strong, the other looks innocent and cuddly. A new hand-knitted classic from Tim Soar. Get both colours.
