Not all jackets have a button hole, but when they do, it's great to fill it with something seasonal. I started the year on a crusade to fill the nation's button holes - click here - and I continue here at a friend's wedding. Not one to up stage the bride I went simple with a sprig of verbena bonariensis, it went well with the grey suit and Madras Check print tie. Didn't last long, about two hours, but hey, that was long enough to get noticed!
