Bright Highlight - Orange
Orange is the accent colour of choice this season and looking at the Spring 12 collections from Paul Smith and Dries van Noten, - see left & below - it continues to be a highlight colour well into next year. A vibrant and positive tone, the idea is to highlight and is not to be worn head-to-toe as it looks just too much and almost childlike in large blocks.
Pick out bright accessories or layer T-shirts, sweaters or body-warmers under more somber tones such as navy and grey to make this trend fresh and modern.

Raf Simons brought colour to our lives with his Spring/Summer 2011 collection for Jil Sander. Shown in a sculptured garden setting in Milan, the primary coloured tone on tones and geometric prints were highly influential this year. It was the most coveted menswear collection which did require an element of bravery. Raf Simons started the major trend of the coloured shoe sole this year and with his star ascending the rumours of his appointment at Dior continues, hopefully if he does they'll give him Dior Homme as well.
