Work Seersucker

Seersucker is stereotypically baby blue or pink and white stripes. Worn by WASPs outside clapboard houses in New England or on the Great Gatsby lawns of the Hamptons, Seersucker is as American as apple pie and cheerleaders.

It's not a material you would usually wear to work or even in a city environment. But by choosing a darker colour, such as these two suits by Lanvin and Mr. By Roland Mouret, you can't really see it's seersucker until close up. So, you get the cooling benefits of the cloth without the ugly creasing of linen. The perfect smart material for warmer weather.

Nothing gets more city Summer chic than this.
