Jude Law is quite the clothes horse. Starring in the latest ads for Dunhill and Dior Homme Sport, he wears with confidence. So, when he chooses a new label we take note. At Monday's premiere of Guy Ritchie's film Sherlock Holmes, Law choose little known designer Tamburlaine.
Dressed in a black evening suit and printed t-shirt taken from Tamburlaine’s SS 2010 Collectiion, entitled ‘Trading Places’. The suit is made from a Japanese fabric called ‘Washi’ which is a fibre spun from paper and blended with cotton. The jacket has a fine linen collar which contrasts with the burlap-like texture of the fabric. The T-shirt is made from pure linen. It has been ‘slashed’ by lazer in the form of a Union Jack and is then printed on top with the immortal line from Oscar Wilde: “I can resist everything except temptation”.
