As the winter men's shows are about to kick off in Milan, I was treated to a preview of Baartmans & Siegel's new A/W 2011 collection. This is the first of their collections which wont be exclusive to Harrods and as such should be more widely available.
I really like this young label, it has the right level of luxury and strictness without disappearing up its own arse. It's severe but with a slight cuddle and this season that furry cuddle was supplied by fox and graduated mink collars.
Details include; coats buttoned low and long, black bouclé, jackets with a slight pagoda shoulder and this parka with its generous fox hood balances utility and premium luxury.
This stuff isn't cheap but you can definitely see your money.
