Call us biased but we like to support young British designers. With the right financial help, guidance and talent, these designers will be the ones to change the face of menswear, which at the moment is continually looking backward and reveling in vintage and historical nostalgia.
One of those great hopes is Christopher Kane. Already proving his creativity and ability in womenswear, his menswear is slowly but surely starting to take shape. From a few highly influential constellation printed T-shirts a few years ago to this collection of Howard Hodgkin-like brush strokes teamed with custom J Brand jeans, we see huge potential and fingers crossed somebody to take menswear to new places and not the boring rut of vintage we are stuck in now.
