Something to get excited about for spring 2010 are the new silk pleated trousers I spotted at the recent Hugo press day. Grey pleated trousers in feather-light silk are really what you want to be wearing next summer. Bruno Pieters is working wonders as head designer at Hugo creating a harsh yet beautiful angular aesthetic. He's done a similar trouser called Hernando for this season current in black wool
Pleated trousers are very much the trouser shape of the season so expect more gushing from me soon on this subject.
