Loyal Italian peacoat at matches Loyal is an exciting new label to know this season. Developed in Italy with inspirations from American sportswear, a passion for fine british tailoring and the Japanese flair for detail, Loyal is a collaboration with a handful of the finest tailors and pattern makers. Giovanni de Marchi is the man behind the brand, from his earliest days at Nike in the 90s Giovanni has now taken to re-imagining the humble blanket.

Loyal's stylish and colourful peacoats uses Italian Army & Navy woollen blankets, each colour and type corresponds to its specific original use. Vintage  specialists searched and collected the blankets, sterilised and specially treated them to soften the wool. Each blanket is carefully analysed and individually treated and one jacket is made from a single blanket through a traditional tailoring method. The transformation from a blanket to a jacket is all handmade as recommended by classic men’s tailoring (including the taped edge of each single piece and the total assembly of the article).

These are the best peacoats we've seen this season and come in white with a pale blue stripe and a solid Yves Klein blue with anchor details. One of these is definitely going in our wardrobe this season.
