The Fair Isle can often get pigeon-holed into that tweedy/vintage bracket. But there is more to this winter classic and here are two examples of how it can be worn in a contemporary way. The round neck and long arms make this more a patterned jumper than a Fair Isle which takes away some of the twee connotations. Raf Simons has a perfect, but pricey, option while Norse Projects has a similar style, both with the perfect proportion of pattern.
